B Robertson Movement

Breana Robertson (she/her)

is a performer, choreographer, and educator based in Denton, TX. She holds a BA in Dance from Texas Tech University and is in her final year of the Master of Fine Arts program in Dance at Texas Woman’s University where  her choreographic and pedagogical research interests engage with improvisation, embodied intuition and ensemble thinking. She wears many hats as a dance teacher at a competitive dance studio, the President of the National Honor Society of Dance Arts, a Graduate Teaching Assistant and the Publicity Coordinator for the TWU Division of Dance.


Breana has performed at the American College Dance Association conference, {254}DanceFest and for the MAC cosmetics “Fruity Juicy” promotion. As a stage performer Breana worked with choreographers Genevive Durham-DeCesero, Ali Duffy, Kyla Olson, Luc Vanier, and Sarah Gamblin. Breana also has a love for Musical Theatre and performed with Lubbock Moonlight Musicals as Jemima in CATS the musical, Frenchie in Grease, and Ruth in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.Breana's work has been featured on the Public Broadcast Service segment “24 Frames”, Flatlands Dance Theatre’s film dance concert “60x30” and Texas Woman’s University’s Dance UpClose and DanceMakers concerts. After she receives her Master of Fine Arts Degree, Breana plans on continuing her teaching and research with the goal to one day be published in an academic journal.
